If you're willing to read this, then I know you care what message you are putting out there.   In order to succeed at Attraction Marketing, you have to be attractive to others!   Stop and think for a moment, what are you doing out there that can be considered "attractive"?  I would like all of us to really think about the message we send across the Internet when we start being a salesperson and stop being social.

What are you offering to others?  What value are you giving to the community?   Are you "paying it forward"?  Is everything you do "all about you"?  Have you ever heard "it's better to give than to receive"?

Ok, you're thinking... "But I really need to let people know what I offer and put my deal out there!".  I totally understand.  We are driven as a society to constantly get ahead or be left behind.   But it can be a turnoff to constantly be marketed to.   If you really think about it, you know what I mean.  And, people see right through those fake attempts at socializing using Social Media Marketing.  

May I  share with you what I find  "unattractive" at Social Media sites?.....When I receive a request for a new friend on Social Media sites and once approved, they immediately try to sell you on their opportunity.  Not only is that not attractive, it's annoying.  Would you do that to a new friend? 

It's refreshing, and rare, to meet someone who does not try to sell you within the first 5 "online" minutes, and I personally do not feel that is an example of Attraction Marketing, just sales tactics that are not attractive at all.  I'm thinking they really didn't want to be my friend, and if I was someone looking for an Internet Network Marketing opportunity, I would not be attracted to them.

We are supposed to be making friends, not "sales pitch buddies"!  This type of Internet Network Marketing ploy is very common, but if I don't like it done to me then why would I do it to someone else?  That's still the "old school model of network marketing" rearing up its ugly head.

I've always believed that when you're selling something, you're really selling yourself.  An example of this is my husband.  He's in outside sales; a tough job as everyone knows.  He is very successful.  He doesn't use any closing tricks or gimmicks.  He doesn't attend the fancy training seminars where they make you role-play "closing the sale".  He doesn't harass the customer and wear them down with constant follow-up.  He just sells himself.  He builds relationships, one customer at a time.  They buy from him because they like him, and the occasional free lunch doesn't hurt.

So, if you truly want to succeed at Attraction Marketing, it means attracting others to you by just being yourself.  That should be easier then anything else you've tried so far!  Be an original.  Stand out in the crowd.  Try building a relationship with a new friend or lead before you try to sell them on your home based business.  I believe that once they like what they see, they will be attracted to your Internet Marketing buisness.  The only difference between your Network Marketing business and all the thousands of other opportunities out there...is You! 

Your desire to help others and give back to the Network Marketing community will shine through and attract prospects to you like a moth to a flame.  Not only will you succeed at building your Network Marketing business by using Attraction Marketing principles, but you will have the personal satisfaction of sharing your knowledge and helping your team succeed as well.  What goes around comes around!  It's better to give than to receive!
